Learn More about CCBHC
We are excited to have received the Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC)- Expansion Grant. The Family Guidance Center of Warren County is 1 of 20 CCBHC locations in the State of New Jersey that has received this grant through SAMHSA. CCBHCs provide a comprehensive array of services needed to create access to care, stabilize individuals in crisis, as well as provide or link individuals to proper treatment. CCBHCs work to bridge gaps and expand services such as primary care, wellness, recovery, trauma-informed care, behavioral health, and social services. CCBHCs are available to any individual in need of care, people with mental illness, substance use disorder, or other complex health profiles.
CCBHC is a specially designated program that receives flexible funding to expand the scope of mental health and substance use services available in their community. Most importantly, CCBHCs provide care for people with unmet needs. CCBHCs will provide services regardless of ability to pay, those who are underserved, have low incomes, are either insured, uninsured, or on Medicaid, and those who are active-duty military or veterans.
CCBHCs are available to any individual in need of care, including (but not limited to):
- People with serious mental illness(es)
- People with serious emotional disturbance(s)
- People with long-term chronic addiction
- People with mild or moderate mental illness and substance use disorders
