Reports To: SHE (Substance Use Help for Substance Exposed Infants and Mothers) Program Supervisor
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related behavioral health field from an accredited university; LCSW/LSW or LAC/LPC and open to working toward an LCADC; some supervised experience in working with substance-using clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual, group and family counseling to women who are pregnant and up to 16 weeks post birth with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
- Utilize early relation health model.
- Coordinate treatment and discharge planning with other referral, collaborative and aftercare service provider entities, family members as needed and Family Guidance Center of Warren County services.
- Maintain a minimum of 70% face-to-face client contact/productivity each week, which is tracked monthly by the agency’s data analyst.
- Create individual and family-focused treatment plans which are goal-directed and involve family members as indicated.
- Coordinate treatment with other Family Guidance Center of Warren County services and DCP&P, the Prosecutor’s Office, Probation, Parole, IDRC and other relevant agencies and services.
- Complete evaluations and treatment progress notes in accordance with agency policies and in a time-sensitive manner.
- Complete reports to be submitted to DCP&P, the Court, the Prosecutor’s Office, Probation, Parole and IDRC on a timely basis.
- Meet with supervisor on a weekly basis for clinical supervision and actively participate in regularly scheduled department meetings; attend scheduled administrative/clinical meetings.
- Be familiar with community resources, including 12-step and other non 12-step self-help groups, and refer clients as indicated.
- Participate in program and center performance improvement activities and take responsibility for professional development and meeting licensure requirements for maintaining credentials through attendance at relevant workshops and seminars.
- Educate clients on the relationship between drug and alcohol abuse and risk factors for the contraction of AIDS and other diseases.
- Attend trainings as recommended for the program population.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Clinical staff are expected to abide by all program policies and procedures.
- Clinical staff are expected to comply with the responsibilities stated in the job description for their position.
- Clinical staff are expected to status appointments by the end of their scheduled shift.
- Clinical staff are expected to complete documentation by the end of the calendar week.
- Clinical staff are expected to maintain at least a 70% face-to-face rate of the available clinical time.
- Available clinical time excludes supervision, program meetings, committee meetings, travel time, meal breaks and dedicated phone intake coverage, if applicable.
- At this time, productivity is measured on a monthly basis.
