Family Guidance Center’s Better Future Self-Help Center is a consumer-operated self-help center which offers social, recreational, educational and advocacy activities at no cost to mental health consumers throughout Warren County. The center focuses on health and wellness with specialized service activities offered, such as a fitness center, nutritious meals, seminars on health topics, smoking cessation services and exercise classes. Transportation to and from the center is provided to make the activities accessible to those who do not have their own transportation. Most importantly, Better Future provides a vibrant, comfortable and welcoming place for consumers in the community.
BFSHC’s services are available free of charge Monday through Friday from 2:45-6:45 p.m. and Saturdays from noon-4 p.m. Consumers who require transportation to and from the center should contact the center 24 hours in advance to make arrangements.
